Beauty Under The Pain
The depiction of the American flag show bleeding stars that represents some of the unarmed people of color who were wrongfully killed by police and the stripes which are also bleeding represent the ones who have not been named. It is a painful and ugly side of the system that no one wants to see but it is there. However, there is still good in the world and the other side shows the beauty underneath the pain and suffering. The female represents “mother” she brings forth hope and unity. It is beautiful how everyone is coming together in solidarity, protesting together, helping one another; under one common goal.
