"Fourth Quad" is part of a series that I created during the pandemic times. Normally a figurative painter and unable to work live from the model for a very long time I spent some serious time looking back at drawings I had done over the years for inspiration. The end result of the search forced me to rethink and find inspiration to create a fantasy series based on blind figurative contour drawings. The end result is a series of symmetrical and upside down paintings executed on four canvases giving the viewer a colorful and kaleidoscopic visual experience. The artwork I've made during these times literally speak to the request for "Upside Down" artwork.
